During the .GR.COM domain registration process, there were three launch phases: These phases were named Sunrise, Landrush and the General Availability phase.

.GR.COM Sunrise Registration

Apply during the .GR.COM Sunrise domain registration phase if you would like to protect your trademark or corporate identity. This phase is only open to trademark holders.

Phase duration: 6:00pm GMT 30th Nov 2010 to 6:00pm GMT 9th Jan 2011
.GR.COM Sunrise domains can be registered for a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 10 years.
This phase is not first come, first served.
If multiple applications are received during this phase then they are entered into an auction.

.GR.COM Landrush Registration

Anyone from the general public can apply for any available .GR.COM domain registration during the Landrush phase. Highly sought after and highly commercial domain names are sure to be registered during this phase.

Phase duration: 6:00pm GMT 10th Jan 2011 to 6:00pm GMT 6th Feb 2011
.GR.COM Landrush domains can be registered for a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 10 years.
This phase is open to the general public.
This phase is not first come, first served.
If multiple applications are received during this phase then they are entered into an auction.

If you're not successful securing your .GR.COM domain during the Landrush phase, you will be refunded your original Landrush fee to your original payment card minus a £10 application handling fee.

.GR.COM General Availability

The General Availability phase is a first come, first served phase with no auctions. Pre-Order with us for success so we can secure the domain you want the moment this phase begins.

Phase starts: 3:00pm GMT 8th Feb 2011
This phase is first come, first served.
.GR.COM General Availability domains can be registered for a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 10 years.

If you're not successful securing your .GR.COM domain during the general Availability phase, you will be refunded your original General Availability fee to your original payment card.

.GR.COM Auctions

Auctions take place at the end of the Sunrise and Landrush phases. These auctions are conducted by a third party, who will notify you of domain auction details and dates of auctions commencing.
