.me Domain Registration Landrush Process
.me - Top level domain registration for the YOU!
The .me domain registration process will follow a similar process to the .asia domain registration launch, the initial Landrush will allow anyone to attempt to register any available domains.
If the domain in question is requested for registration by more than one party then the domain will be subject to an auction, all interested parties will then have the opportunity to bid on the domain.
If you are fortunate enough to be the only party to request a domain registartion then it will be registered to you at the end of the landrush period.
After the initial Landrush period comes ‘Open Registration’ when the registry will open to live domain registrations.
Landrush Process
Landrush is the first opportunity for the general public to register a .me domain. Anyone is eligible, and no trademarks are required.
The .me registry have opted to utilise an auction process for domains registrations requested multiple times during the Landrush period. Landrush will function as follows:

- If a domain registration is requested by more than one party, the domain will be subject to an auction in which all interested parties will be able to bid on the domain. If you are fortunate enough to be the only bidder then it will be registered to you at the end of the Landrush period. Registrations are for a minimum of two years, and up to a maximum of ten years.
