Our Domain Registration Pre-Order Cancellation and Amendment policy.

We operate a strict cancellation and amendment policy on all pre-orders placed with us. All pre-orders placed are a legally binding contract to purchase your chosen domain name(s) upon registry launch. They cannot be substituted, transferred, amended or cancelled, regardless of whether payment is taken in advance or upon successful registration of your domain names.

They are subject to the terms and conditions you agree with us when opening your account at Domainmonster.com, which can be found here, and more explicitly for the .tel domain name, here.

Why are we so strict with our policy?

We only take one pre-order per domain name. This means that you can be sure we won't secure the name for multiple parties and auction to the highest bidder, a common practice we see in the market place and don't condone.

When you place a pre-order with us, we therefore reserve our application to secure this name exclusively for you, from that point until the registry opens. This doesn't guarantee you the domain name as we still need to be successful when the registry opens, but it does means we will not sell your chosen domain name to any other customer from that point forward. We will only put forward one application to secure the name for you and you only.

We also allocate a queue position to your order at the point of purchase. This means that all our pre-orders are allocated fairly. In the 2008 launches of .me and .asia, Domainmonster.com were the 2nd largest registry worldwide with over a 90% success rate; an impressive benchmark that our competitors can't beat.
