Pre-Ordering your .tel domain registration with Domainmonster.com couldn't be simpler! As the .tel registry is operating on a first-come first-served basis at each stage of registration, Domainmonster.com will be offering customers the opportunity to Pre-Order their desired domain names. Pre-Ordered domain registrations will be submitted to the registry the second the applicable stage begins, giving you the best possible chance of securing your domain name.
- Pre-Orders for all stages of the .tel domain registration launch will be taken simultaneously.
- This means that you can place a pre-order for any of the stages as soon as pre-ordering is available.
- No payments will be taken until a .tel domain is successfully acquired.
- The card registered to your Domainmonster.com account will be preauthorised 48 hours prior to the launch of the relevant stage, the results of this preauthorisation will be emailed to you.
- In the event that the preauthorisation on your credit card fails we will retry until 24 hours prior to launch, at this point the domain will be displayed as available on Domainmonster.com and your pre-order will be declared void & the domain registration will not be secured.
- At each stage of the .tel domain launch we will filter out those domain names that have been taken in a prior stage before preauthorising credit cards.
- Eg. If you have pre-ordered apple.tel at the Landrush stage but it is taken at Sunrise your card will not be preauthorised and no attempt will be made to secure the domain. We will keep you informed if your pre-registration is no longer available through registration at an earlier stage.
- Only one application will be taken per domain name. However a domain will show as available until the earliest .tel launch stage is filled.
- Eg. If you pre-order apple.tel for the General Availability stage the domain will continue to show as available for those wishing to pre-order for a prior stage.
Your Domain Registartion Pre-Order & Queue Priority
When you place a .tel pre-order with us, we assign you a queue position instantly and remove your chosen .tel domain(s) from our availability checker. We only take one pre-order per domain name and you are granted the exclusive right to the pre-order of that domain name and of that position in our queue. Whilst we do operate on a no-win no-fee basis, you have still placed an order with us, regardless of what stage we will be charging your payment card and therefore your order with us is binding and irrevocable. Substitutes are not permitted and cancellations not accepted. We operate this policy to allow fair use of our pre-order system.
