Domain Contacts

Several contacts are assigned to a domain when it is registered. This information is stored in the Whois database. Different details are required depending on which top-level domain (TLD) you are registering:

• Domain names using generic top-level domains require you to submit four sets of contact details: a registrant (the domain owner), an admin contact, a billing contact and a technical contact.
• .uk domains require only a registrant, administrative and billing contact.
• .eu domains require only a registrant and technical contact.
