Organic

Organic listings, sometimes also referred to as natural listings, are search engine listings which are not sponsored; that is, the website owner did not pay for their site's positioning in the SERPs. Best organic SERP positioning results from using legitimate search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques, such as providing original, keyword-rich content on the website, and establishing back links to improve link popularity.

High organic rankings tend to afford websites more credibility, because money was not involved in their SERP positioning. Most search engines, such as Google and Yahoo, clearly mark sponsored listings as separate from organic listings.
