The .me open registration process will offer real-time domain registration on a first come first server basis. If a domain is available it can be registered instantly, upon confirmation you will be the legal owner of the domain requested.
Open Registration Process
Orders placed from the 17th July 2008 are available on a first come first served basis. However, we do expect the majority of popular names to be taken during the first Landrush stage. Don't wait if you are serious about securing your .me domains
The registry opens at 15:00 UTC at which point we will immediately be taking orders for your .me domain names.
.ME domains, with their universal appeal, are expected to be in high demand. So some "premium" names – including verb-oriented domains, such as "Contact.ME," "Drive.ME" or "Fly.ME," – will be held back for auction after Open Registration.
