.asia Landrush web-address

.asia - the dedicated top level web-address for the Asia-Pacific region.
The .asia domain name registration process varies from other new TLD's in the respect that the initial Landrush will allow anyone to attempt to register any available domains.
If the domain in question is requested by more than one party then the web address will be subject to an auction in which all interested parties will be able to bid on the domain.
If you are fortunate enough to be the only party to request a specific web address then it will be registered to you at the end of the Landrush period.
After the initial Landrush period comes ‘Go Live’ when the registry will be open to live registrations.
Landrush Process for .asia web address
Landrush is the first opportunity for the general public to register a .asia web address.
