Manage Information

Renewal Information:

Renewals for .QA web addresses can be carried out at any time. The total registration length can never exceed 5 years and 90 days.

Expiry Information:

Upon expiry you will be unable to make changes to a .QA web address until a renewal is applied. A .QA web address enters the Expired Hold state at expiry, after 30 days it will enter the Expired Pending Purge stage. After 1 day the domain becomes eligible to be purged.

Redemption Information:

During the 30 day Expired Hold state it is possible to renew a .QA web address. If you wish to renew during this stage a redemption fee will be applied.

Transfer Information:

Transfers do not automatically result in a renewal of your .QA web address. Transfers will complete automatically in 2 days, sooner if the losing registrar authorises the transfer.
